Visualiser

The role will support the Lead Architect and Lead Urban Planner in delivering high-quality projects across the buildings and community development sectors. As a Visualiser, you will bring project visions to life through 3D modeling, animation, virtual reality, and other visualization techniques, ensuring the design intent is clearly communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Architects, Designers, and Planners to create industry-leading 3D models, images, and animations.
• Use the latest technology in real-time simulation and rendering software to produce digital illustrations that reflect the design’s intent.
• Create 3D models, photomontages, and renderings that illustrate before-after scenarios for planning applications, walkthroughs, and flythroughs.
• Understand and work with CAD, Revit, Infraworks, and Civil 3D inputs for various projects.
• Provide visualization support across Stantec’s projects in buildings, community development, and other relevant sectors.
• Contribute to project delivery from concept design to detailed design stages using the latest visualization tools and techniques.
• Ensure all work is aligned with Stantec’s Core Values, Quality Systems, and Project Quality Procedures.
• Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure project outcomes meet the expectations of both Stantec and the client.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5-10 years of experience in managing 3D-technology-based projects.
• Degree qualified in Architecture, Industrial Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficient in 3D visualization software such as 3DS Max, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign), Twinmotion, Vray, Unreal Engine, Unity, Lumion, Enscape, Sketchup, AutoCAD, and others.
• Experience with Revit software and producing detailed plans/sections is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of VR/AR environments, interactive modeling, and real-time simulations.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS and CityEngine (optional but advantageous).
• Prior experience in the computer gaming industry is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to contribute to design discussions.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and development in the 3D visualization field.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Dynamic, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
