Visual Designer

RUN Studios is seeking Visual Designers to collaborate with a prominent online retailer for a 5-month project, offering both full-time and part-time roles. These designers will contribute to creating compelling marketing and merchandising campaigns across various online and offline channels, helping to elevate the client’s brand.

Responsibilities:

• Design Campaigns: Develop marketing and merchandising materials that enhance the client’s brand presence across various platforms.
• Data-Driven: Utilize performance data such as metric tests and usability studies to guide design decisions.
• User Experience: Implement best practices for web and mobile interactions to improve user experience.
• Collaborate and Present: Partner with various teams to ensure consistent brand representation and present design solutions to leadership.
• Innovation: Keep up with the latest design trends and share insights with the team to enhance knowledge and creativity.
• Category Support: Work across different product categories to refresh or improve their product presence.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a professional design role, ideally in an advertising or creative agency.
• Portfolio: An online portfolio showcasing work in online marketing, retail merchandising, and user-centered design.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch/Adobe XD, and other relevant tools.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to create pixel-perfect designs and work within design systems.
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally, synthesize feedback, and deliver polished designs in an iterative environment.
• UX/UI Understanding: Strong knowledge of information architecture, usability, accessibility, and design for user experience.
• Communication: Excellent skills in presenting and defending design choices to stakeholders.

Position Details:

• Work Environment: Hybrid role with some in-office time required in Seattle.
• Compensation: $60.00 – $90.00 per hour, based on qualifications and location.
