Gotham FC⠀is seeking⠀a Vice⠀President⠀– People⠀& Culture⠀(“P&C),⠀who will⠀serve on⠀our⠀leadership⠀team and⠀report to⠀our Chief⠀Financial⠀and⠀Administration⠀Officer⠀(“CFAO”).⠀This⠀position⠀will lead⠀all⠀aspects of⠀P&C and⠀organizational⠀development,⠀including⠀talent⠀acquisition,⠀learning⠀and⠀development,⠀employee⠀experience⠀and⠀end-to-end⠀P&C⠀operations.⠀In⠀addition,⠀this⠀position⠀will⠀foster an⠀innovative⠀and⠀collaborative⠀high-performance⠀culture⠀and create⠀and ensure⠀that all⠀P&C⠀practices,⠀policies,⠀systems,⠀tools and⠀resources⠀align with⠀Gotham⠀FC’s⠀values and⠀prioritize⠀diversity,⠀equity and⠀inclusion.⠀The⠀successful⠀candidate⠀must be⠀both⠀successful⠀and⠀comfortable⠀working in⠀a small,⠀dynamic⠀environment,⠀leading⠀and⠀developing⠀a⠀motivated⠀staff,⠀encouraging⠀innovative⠀ideas, and⠀fostering⠀a culture⠀of a fun⠀and safe⠀place to⠀work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a⠀subject⠀matter⠀expert and⠀ensure⠀efficient⠀and⠀effective⠀operations⠀of all⠀aspects of⠀P&C⠀including⠀recruiting⠀and⠀retention,⠀compensation/benefits,⠀onboarding,⠀performance⠀management,⠀learning⠀and⠀development,⠀leaves and⠀accommodations,⠀and other⠀legal⠀compliance⠀and risk⠀management⠀related to⠀Gotham FC⠀employees.
- Develop⠀and⠀maintain⠀P&C⠀policies⠀and⠀procedures⠀that⠀comply⠀with legal⠀and⠀regulatory⠀requirements⠀as well as⠀support⠀and align⠀with⠀Gotham⠀FC’s⠀overall⠀business⠀operations⠀objectives⠀and the⠀Club’s⠀mission⠀and core⠀values and⠀NWSL⠀requirements.
- Build⠀and⠀execute a⠀P&C⠀strategy⠀and⠀organizational⠀design to⠀create a⠀high-performance⠀culture⠀that⠀supports⠀Gotham⠀FC’s⠀growth⠀strategy⠀and⠀promotes⠀accountability,⠀operational⠀excellence⠀and⠀execution⠀to help⠀unlock⠀innovation,⠀creativity⠀and⠀spirit.

- Develop⠀and manage⠀the⠀overall⠀compensation⠀strategy,⠀partnering⠀with⠀members of⠀the⠀leadership⠀team to⠀design⠀programs⠀that⠀motivate⠀and reward⠀Gotham⠀FC’s⠀team.
- Partner⠀with⠀Finance on⠀payroll⠀processes.
- Oversee⠀management⠀of digital⠀P&C⠀platforms⠀and⠀related⠀processes.
- Identify⠀areas of⠀opportunities,⠀propose,⠀plan and⠀execute on⠀those⠀ideas to⠀continually⠀strengthen⠀Gotham⠀FC’s⠀culture⠀and brand⠀as an⠀employer⠀of⠀choice.
- Develop⠀and manage⠀the P&C⠀department⠀budget and⠀allocate⠀resources⠀emphasizing⠀cost-benefit⠀analyses⠀and⠀reliance⠀on⠀objective⠀metrics⠀and⠀data.
- Manage⠀and lead⠀the P&C⠀team,⠀currently⠀consisting⠀of a P&C⠀Specialist.
- Working⠀with legal⠀counsel,⠀ensure⠀that⠀Gotham FC⠀complies⠀with all⠀NWSL⠀requirements⠀and legal⠀and⠀regulatory⠀requirements⠀related to⠀P&C and⠀employment⠀practices,⠀including⠀equal⠀employment⠀opportunity⠀and⠀employee⠀health and⠀safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's⠀Degree⠀with an⠀emphasis⠀in Human⠀Resources,⠀Master's⠀preferred.
- 8+⠀years of⠀People⠀experience⠀with a⠀minimum of⠀5+ years⠀in⠀organizational⠀development.
- Comprehensive⠀knowledge⠀and⠀experience⠀in talent⠀relations,⠀employment⠀laws and⠀compliance⠀with the⠀ability to⠀integrate⠀applicable⠀changes⠀effectively⠀and⠀timely.
- Experience⠀creating⠀and⠀scaling⠀People⠀functions⠀and⠀developing,⠀implementing,⠀and⠀facilitating⠀training⠀around new⠀policies,⠀practices,⠀systems,⠀tools and⠀resources.
- Demonstrated⠀project⠀management⠀skills⠀with the⠀ability to⠀map out a⠀project,⠀effectively⠀manage⠀stakeholder's⠀expectations⠀and drive⠀towards⠀completion.
- An⠀active⠀listener⠀and⠀exceptional⠀communicator⠀in both⠀written⠀and verbal⠀interaction.

Salary range:Base⠀compensation⠀of⠀$150,000 -⠀$180,000⠀plus⠀benefits
