As⠀a member⠀of the⠀Retail⠀Advice and⠀Solutions⠀(RAS)⠀senior⠀leadership⠀team, the⠀VP,⠀Marketing⠀&⠀Communications⠀will be⠀responsible⠀for⠀leading a⠀team that⠀will⠀develop⠀and⠀execute⠀the⠀Prudential⠀Advisors’⠀marketing⠀and⠀overarching⠀RAS⠀internal⠀and⠀external⠀communications⠀strategy⠀that⠀drives⠀growth and⠀accelerates⠀achievement⠀of RAS’⠀business⠀objectives.⠀These⠀complementary⠀capabilities⠀deployed⠀cohesively⠀will drive⠀growth of⠀the RAS⠀business,⠀connect⠀employees⠀and⠀advisors⠀to the⠀business⠀strategy⠀and engage⠀stakeholders⠀in⠀conversation⠀about how⠀RAS⠀directly⠀drives⠀Prudential’s⠀purpose,⠀mission,⠀vision and⠀value-creation⠀strategy⠀for⠀existing⠀retail⠀customers⠀and⠀prospective⠀consumers⠀across the⠀country.

As⠀part of⠀the RAS⠀Empowered⠀Team, this⠀leader⠀will⠀report to⠀the⠀President⠀of RAS and⠀will also⠀maintain⠀reporting⠀relationship⠀to the USB⠀head of⠀Marketing⠀and head⠀of⠀Communications,⠀respectively.

The⠀current⠀EWA for⠀this⠀position⠀is Hybrid⠀and⠀requires⠀your⠀on-site⠀presence⠀on a⠀reoccurring⠀basis as⠀determined⠀by your⠀business.⠀Your⠀manager⠀will⠀provide⠀additional⠀details⠀relative⠀to the⠀specific⠀number of⠀days you⠀are⠀expected⠀to be⠀on-site.

Marketing leadership responsibilities will include:

• Lead the⠀team that⠀develops⠀and⠀executes⠀relevant⠀non-product⠀marketing⠀support to⠀enable⠀growth/success⠀of the⠀Prudential⠀Advisors⠀business,⠀including⠀but not⠀limited to⠀managing⠀programs⠀and⠀maintaining⠀assets⠀that⠀support⠀advisor⠀brand and⠀firm value⠀proposition⠀in local⠀markets⠀across the⠀country;
• Leverage⠀Marketing⠀and Brand⠀enterprise⠀capabilities⠀to deliver⠀on⠀Prudential⠀Advisors’⠀digital⠀(pru.com,⠀advisor⠀homepages,⠀prudentialadvisors.com)⠀and⠀advisor⠀recruitment⠀marketing⠀needs;
• Own⠀and⠀iterate⠀the assets⠀used by⠀Prudential⠀Advisors⠀in⠀facilitating⠀Pathways⠀and⠀Financial⠀Education⠀Series⠀seminars⠀with⠀prospects⠀and⠀clients;
• Develop⠀prospect⠀marketing⠀content⠀that can⠀be⠀leveraged⠀for leads⠀management,⠀lead⠀nurture⠀and⠀execution⠀across⠀Prudential⠀Advisors;
• Ensure⠀Prudential⠀brand⠀standards⠀are met as⠀materials⠀are made⠀available⠀through⠀the LPL⠀platform⠀to⠀advisors⠀and firms.

Communications leadership responsibilities will include:

• Lead the⠀team that⠀develops⠀and⠀executes⠀the⠀internal⠀and⠀external⠀RAS⠀communications⠀strategy;
• Collaborate⠀with⠀internal⠀and⠀external⠀stakeholders⠀to⠀effectively⠀tell⠀RAS’⠀story and⠀harness⠀the voice⠀of the⠀President⠀in all⠀formats⠀(e.g.,⠀speaking⠀engagements,⠀internal⠀announcements,⠀social⠀media⠀management);
• Create⠀and⠀distribute⠀relevant⠀and⠀meaningful⠀content to⠀stakeholder⠀groups⠀that⠀advances⠀growth of⠀the⠀business;
• Nurture⠀strategic⠀relationships⠀with media⠀channels,⠀thought⠀leadership⠀and⠀industry⠀publications⠀and⠀editors to⠀influence⠀reach of⠀RAS’⠀story and⠀accomplishments,⠀creating a⠀virtuous⠀flywheel⠀amplifying⠀the⠀Prudential⠀brand and⠀RAS’⠀value⠀proposition⠀to⠀advisors⠀and⠀clients.
• Support⠀execution⠀of events⠀and⠀internal⠀engagement⠀forums for⠀employees,⠀advisors⠀and other⠀constituents⠀including⠀but not⠀limited to⠀Town Hall⠀meetings⠀and⠀conferences.

What you’ll need:

• 10+ years⠀Communications⠀and/or⠀Marketing⠀executive⠀experience,⠀with at⠀least⠀three in a⠀corporate⠀/ sales⠀distribution⠀environment⠀in a⠀highly⠀regulated⠀industry,⠀financial⠀services⠀preferred;
• Ability⠀to⠀understand⠀business⠀priorities⠀and⠀identify⠀how to⠀build and⠀deliver⠀communications⠀campaigns⠀through⠀multiple⠀channels⠀to bring⠀clarity to⠀the agreed⠀upon⠀priorities;
• Strong⠀business⠀acumen and⠀experience⠀executing⠀with⠀strong⠀expense⠀management⠀discipline;
• Exemplary⠀collaboration⠀skills,
• Influential⠀executive⠀presence⠀and⠀business⠀savvy.
