The Vice⠀President⠀of HR⠀Corporate⠀will⠀partner⠀with the⠀leadership⠀and⠀associates⠀of⠀corporate⠀departments⠀to assist⠀in⠀optimizing⠀people,⠀strategy,⠀structure,⠀process,⠀and⠀culture⠀and to⠀deliver HR⠀services⠀and⠀programs⠀as⠀appropriate.⠀Provides⠀associate⠀relations⠀support⠀when⠀support is⠀necessary.⠀The Vice⠀President⠀HR⠀Corporate⠀will⠀provide⠀quality⠀advice and⠀consultative⠀services⠀to⠀executive⠀leaders,⠀managers⠀and other⠀staff⠀regarding⠀Burlington’s⠀Human⠀Resources⠀programs⠀and⠀services⠀including⠀HR⠀operations,⠀internal⠀staffing⠀and⠀recruitment,⠀succession⠀planning;⠀compensation,⠀benefits,⠀training⠀and⠀development,⠀diversity,⠀performance⠀management,⠀associate⠀relations,⠀organizational⠀development⠀and⠀company⠀sponsored⠀programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead,⠀advise and⠀support⠀all HR⠀areas⠀including⠀talent⠀development,⠀policies⠀and⠀procedures,⠀associate⠀development,⠀performance⠀management,⠀recognition,⠀engagement,⠀discipline,⠀and⠀terminations
- Provide⠀strategic⠀leadership⠀regarding⠀HR⠀strategies⠀that⠀support⠀the⠀vision,⠀culture⠀and⠀business⠀needs of⠀the⠀organization
- Support⠀the⠀business⠀teams in⠀establishing⠀and⠀executing⠀an⠀effective⠀talent⠀strategy⠀(short and⠀long term)⠀and work⠀in⠀partnership⠀with the⠀Talent⠀Acquisition⠀team
- Inspire,⠀coach, and⠀influence⠀coaching⠀in the⠀moment⠀culture to⠀effectively⠀improve⠀the⠀quality⠀and⠀frequency⠀of⠀developmental⠀feedback⠀and⠀improve⠀the⠀performance⠀appraisal⠀experience
- Identify⠀associate⠀relations⠀issues⠀quickly,⠀exercising⠀sound⠀judgement⠀and⠀discretion⠀and⠀partner⠀with⠀Employment⠀Counsel as⠀appropriate

- Study⠀HR metrics⠀to⠀proactively⠀identify⠀issues⠀within the⠀business⠀and⠀develop⠀plans to⠀address
- Works⠀on various⠀HR⠀projects⠀as⠀assigned⠀and⠀supports⠀Corporate⠀HR team⠀with daily⠀HR⠀activities⠀necessary⠀to support⠀the⠀organization
- Coordinates⠀team⠀building⠀activities⠀to enhance⠀engagement
- Leads⠀engagement⠀survey⠀program⠀execution
Education:
- Bachelor’s⠀degree⠀preferred
- PHR/SPHR⠀certification⠀preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years⠀HR⠀Generalist⠀or⠀employment⠀law⠀experience⠀preferred
- 5+⠀years⠀retail⠀industry⠀experience⠀preferred
