The IM User Access Analyst processes client security requests for user access to applications and services, including account creation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The role involves understanding user access mechanisms and provisioning tools, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, and delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provision user accounts for information systems.
- Verify end-user security classes, training, and credentials in Epic.
- Document and streamline application account provisioning processes.
- Design and maintain role-based access structures.
- Notify management of policy breaches related to system use.
- Support help desk operations occasionally.
- Maintain workload and account tracking statistics.
- Participate in project tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Systems/Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in user provisioning, application/database security, and user administration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, UNIX, and web applications. Epic training or certification is a plus.
- Strong time management, customer service, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Help desk or customer service experience preferred.
