Position Overview:
- Take⠀direction⠀from Head⠀Designer⠀and on⠀trends and⠀find⠀artwork to⠀use for⠀development
- Design⠀artwork/embroidery⠀and lay⠀out on⠀pattern
- Recolor⠀artwork⠀and pull⠀threads⠀and⠀revision⠀of⠀embroideries,⠀and⠀embellishments,⠀colors,⠀style
- Develop⠀prints and⠀trims:⠀repeat,⠀layout,⠀color
- Develop⠀tie dyes⠀by doing⠀drops in⠀sketches
- Work⠀directly⠀with⠀patternmaker⠀to develop⠀prototype⠀and follow⠀through to⠀completion.
- Work⠀with⠀sewers on⠀garment⠀construction⠀and⠀cutters on⠀placement⠀and follow⠀through to⠀completion
- Participate⠀in⠀meetings⠀with⠀Design⠀team⠀throughout⠀design⠀process
- Sketch⠀CAD
Qualifications
- Proficiency⠀in⠀Photoshop⠀and⠀Fashion⠀Design⠀Experience⠀are a⠀must!
- Detail⠀oriented⠀and able⠀to manage⠀multiple⠀projects
- Good⠀organizational,⠀time⠀management⠀and⠀problem⠀solving⠀skills
- Previous⠀embroidery⠀design is⠀not⠀required⠀but the⠀ideal⠀candidate⠀must have⠀a basic⠀understanding⠀of garment⠀construction⠀and a good⠀eye for⠀design
- Ability⠀to work⠀well⠀independently⠀as well as⠀part of a⠀team
- Must⠀have a⠀good sense⠀of color⠀and color⠀trends for⠀the⠀season.
- Experience⠀and⠀interest⠀in⠀sketching,⠀drawing⠀and design⠀is a plus
Salary range: $75k - $85k/annual
