The Clerical & Administrative Support position provides various administrative services to assist the department or supervisor. Responsibilities may include drafting and typing letters, reports, and other documents using software such as word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation tools, along with basic bookkeeping, screening calls, and organizing meetings or events.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clerical Support: Draft and type letters, reports, charts, and graphs using appropriate software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation tools).
  • Bookkeeping: Handle basic bookkeeping duties as required.
  • Call & Visitor Management: Screen incoming calls and visitors, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Prepare agendas, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel and other logistical needs for special events.
  • Calendar Management: Manage the supervisor’s or department's calendar, scheduling appointments, and organizing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least one year of administrative support or related experience.
  • Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Minimum Competencies:

  • Proficient in using basic office software (word processing, spreadsheets, and databases).
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service.
