Job Summary:
Lead the installation and maintenance of telecommunication equipment, including fiber and critical infrastructure, in customer technical spaces such as data centers and central offices. Ensure high-quality service, resolve technical issues, and oversee project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain cable trays, data equipment cabinets, servers, routers, and power systems.
• Test and document performance characteristics of hardware and software.
• Perform advanced testing, integration activities, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and procedures.
• Oversee less experienced installers and ensure project quality.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the project team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (technical or college degree preferred).
• 6+ years of central office equipment installation experience.
• Proficiency with transport equipment (Ciena, Fujitsu, Cisco, etc.) and fiber optic/AC/DC power systems.
• Knowledge of AT&T, Telcordia, or Verizon quality standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical documentation and use basic power tools.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in various physical environments.
