As a Senior Art Director, you will drive creative concepts and visually compelling campaigns that build Whirlpool's brands and solve marketing and consumer challenges. You’ll collaborate with the creative, strategy, and brand teams to deliver powerful, brand-driven ideas and content across multiple channels and platforms. Your work will help shape customer experiences that fuel business growth and enhance Whirlpool’s global impact.


Creative Leadership & Execution:

  • Brand Voice & Conceptualization: Drive the brand voice forward by creating innovative and visually compelling concepts for multi-platform campaigns.
  • Cross-Channel Creativity: Bring creative, channel-agnostic ideas to life across various consumer touchpoints, including digital, social, film, in-store, and experiential.
  • Brand Strategy & Expression: Ensure all creative assets reflect brand strategies with breakthrough ideas, maintaining cohesion and consistency across projects.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with creative, strategy, and brand teams to develop impactful campaigns, articulating creative intent and proactively coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Campaign & Content Development:

  • Campaign Execution: Lead the development and execution of impactful campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, consumer needs, and market objectives.
  • Creative Asset Production: Oversee the production of creative assets across the Consumer Decision Journey, ensuring a seamless and cohesive experience across platforms.
  • Consumer Experience: Contribute to delivering exceptional consumer experiences that drive results, increase brand equity, and promote brand growth.

Team Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Participate in a collaborative environment, working with a wide range of creative disciplines to inspire and execute new ideas.
  • Mentorship & Team Engagement: Provide guidance to other team members, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Qualifications:


  • Portfolio: Must provide a link or attachment to your creative portfolio showcasing your art direction work.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (e.g., High School Diploma/GED + Advertising Certification in Art Direction, Graphic Design, or Advertising).
  • Experience: ~3-5 years of experience as an Art Director in an in-house creative team or agency environment.

Preferred Skills & Experiences:

  • Campaign Experience: Experience in concepting and executing campaigns for large, high-profile brands.
  • Visual Storytelling: Strong skills in innovative problem-solving and impactful visual storytelling across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Creative Leadership: Ability to influence and inspire others through compelling presentations and collaboration.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think outside the box and push the boundaries of conventional creativity to deliver breakthrough results.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Strong team-oriented mindset, open to feedback and ready to share and develop ideas with others.
  • Brand Development: Strong intuition and motivation for brand development and execution.
