As a Talent Management Advisor, you will be a key member of the Talent Management team, helping enhance organizational performance, employee experience, and supporting CIBC’s corporate strategy. This role focuses on developing talent, building relationships with strategic business units, providing consulting services, and aligning talent management programs with organizational goals. The role requires on-site presence two to three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Strategy & Guidance: Partner with leaders to understand business needs, offer strategic guidance, and recommend solutions to foster employee success.
  • Talent Reviews & Assessments: Facilitate talent reviews and evaluate candidates and employees, using assessment results to design development solutions.
  • People Development: Collaborate in talent planning and create development paths for future leaders while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in leadership and team development.
  • Program Implementation: Lead initiatives on employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.
  • Organizational Development: Implement solutions for performance management, career pathing, succession planning, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze talent-related data to identify gaps and design solutions.
  • Collaboration with HRBP & Talent Acquisition: Work with HR business partners and Talent Acquisition to assess organizational design and attract a diverse slate of candidates.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in Organizational Development, talent management, or related fields; familiarity with talent management concepts and designing enablement plans.
  • Data Analysis: Strong understanding of data and statistical analysis, including familiarity with statistical programs.
  • People-Centric: Passionate about working with people and building meaningful relationships.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate complex data clearly and meaningfully.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working cross-functionally to implement programs and strategies.
