Strategic Finance Associate

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Finance team and work closely with the Director of Strategy and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Support financial planning, budgeting, due diligence, and forecasting processes in collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
• Opportunity Evaluation: Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify and evaluate business opportunities that align with strategic initiatives.
• Model Development: Develop and maintain financial and business models for various scenarios to support strategic decision-making.
• Strategic Initiative Execution: Drive strategic initiatives from evaluation through implementation, working cross-functionally to establish requirements and KPIs.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and present clear and concise reports, presentations, and metrics for various stakeholders, including internal management and external investors or partners.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards, particularly regarding payment processing.
• Market Analysis: Evaluate market and industry trends, providing recommendations based on findings to inform strategic direction.
• Project Management Support: Create and refine presentations, analysis documents, and marketing materials to support strategic initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, consulting, or a similar role.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze large datasets.
• Collaborative Mindset: A willingness to learn and contribute to team goals, demonstrating a collaborative spirit.
