Johnson & Johnson is seeking a dynamic Specialty Sales Specialist for the Cardiovascular & Metabolism division to join their West Spokane, WA territory team. This role focuses on sales and customer development within the cardiovascular and metabolic therapeutic areas, building relationships with key specialists and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales quotas and business objectives in the cardiovascular and metabolism markets.
  • Develop relationships with cardiologists and other specialists through regular customer interactions, focusing on long-term engagement.
  • Influence key stakeholders and thought leaders, assisting in contract implementation, protocols, and clinician access.
  • Demonstrate consultative selling skills in cardiovascular and metabolic therapeutic areas using approved tools and resources.
  • Analyze business trends and marketplace data to create and implement a compliant business plan.
  • Adapt sales strategies based on local market conditions, addressing competitive threats, and seeking emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to exchange relevant information and meet business goals.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as call reporting, expense tracking, and healthcare compliance documentation by established deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales, account management, business-to-business sales, or relevant military experience.
  • Experience in the cardiovascular or thrombosis therapeutic areas is preferred.
  • Documented sales success or participation in a management development program is highly valued.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (including overnight/weekend travel).
  • Residency in the designated geography, or willingness to relocate.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000.
