Web Designer

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer and Web Developer Lead to provide strategic design support, manage projects, and lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining digital and multimedia projects. This role requires advanced knowledge of design principles, front-end development, user experience, and Section 508 accessibility compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team in the design and development of web content, graphics, multimedia projects, and print materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and create design plans and schedules.
• Ensure all projects adhere to TriWest’s branding and style guidelines.
• Create and maintain responsive web pages, graphics, templates, and landing pages.
• Consult and offer design recommendations for web campaigns, presentations, and specialty projects.
• Utilize front-end coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET/C#) to develop interfaces.
• Test web features for cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and incorporate innovative solutions.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in web design, graphic design, and front-end development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery preferred).
• U.S. citizenship for TRICARE contract support.
  Preferred:
• Experience with CMS frameworks like EPiServer and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Familiarity with designing for Section 508 compliance and responsive web design.
• Knowledge of server-side programming for templating (ASP.NET/C#).
