About⠀the⠀Position

As⠀a senior⠀product⠀designer⠀at Vertic,⠀you’re⠀responsible⠀for⠀understanding⠀customer⠀needs,⠀developing⠀ideas and⠀direction,⠀and⠀working⠀with⠀product⠀teams to⠀deliver⠀outstanding⠀customer⠀experiences.⠀You will⠀lead the⠀end-to-end⠀design⠀process,⠀from⠀ideation⠀to⠀execution,⠀for new⠀features,⠀enhancements,⠀and⠀redesign⠀projects.⠀You will⠀be⠀expected⠀to conduct⠀user⠀research⠀and gather⠀insights⠀to inform⠀design⠀decisions⠀and⠀validate⠀design⠀solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver⠀UI/UX⠀product⠀designs⠀through⠀our design⠀process⠀from⠀ideation⠀to⠀launch.
• Establish⠀a strong,⠀collaborative⠀design⠀practice.
• Provide⠀creative⠀output and⠀direction⠀to ensure⠀the vision⠀for the⠀product is⠀achieve.
• Design,⠀build,⠀maintain,⠀and⠀implement⠀pixel-perfect⠀design⠀systems⠀for⠀scalable⠀design⠀solutions.
• Collaborate⠀with⠀Engineering⠀teams to⠀create⠀products⠀that are⠀implemented⠀to spec⠀and with⠀other⠀designers⠀to create⠀a cohesive⠀cross-product⠀experience;
• Partner⠀with PM,⠀Account⠀Management⠀and⠀Strategy⠀teams to⠀define the⠀product⠀direction⠀and⠀develop⠀simple⠀solutions⠀for⠀complex⠀workflows.
• Collaborate⠀across⠀multiple⠀teams to⠀ensure⠀stakeholders⠀have their⠀input⠀integrated⠀during⠀design and⠀development.
• Mentor⠀fellow⠀team⠀members⠀through⠀our⠀process⠀and⠀methods⠀through⠀clear and⠀concise⠀feedback.
• You’ll⠀collaborate⠀in⠀cross-functional⠀teams by⠀communicating⠀visually⠀and⠀verbally⠀with⠀key-stakeholders,⠀including⠀non-designers.

Qualifications

• A portfolio of your recent work.
• Expert in Figma and Adobe Suite.
• 5+ years of UX/product design experience.
• High proficiency with prototyping and visual design software, mostly Figma..
• You have an unmatched fluency in UX, visual, and interactive design best practices and a strong understanding of usability principles and techniques.
• Ability to defend your work, but also take creative feedback and execute updates in a professional manner.
• Can communicate ideas to the client and have hard conversations when needed.
• Thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment where you own products from start to finish, and make decisions quickly and independently.
• Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides.
• Have 4-6+ years of experience shipping products and collaborating with developers;
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, whether in one-on-one or group situations.
• Is comfortable with large application structures.
• Information architecture and user flows.
• Good understand of branding and the fundamentals of developing brand guidelines and web toolkits.
• Icon design, Infographic design, Mobile App design.

Salary range

$115-130k⠀(based on⠀experience⠀and skill)
