Senior Landscape Engineer

Parsons is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Engineer to join our design team. In this role, you will oversee and direct the site supervision of landscaping, irrigation, and associated works. You will work closely with design engineers and contractors to ensure that the project meets design standards and adheres to safety protocols. This position requires a management-oriented professional who excels in both design review and construction supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct site supervision of landscaping, irrigation, and related works, ensuring alignment with design standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and requests for information (RFIs) regarding landscaping and irrigation.
• Collaborate with Parsons’ design engineers to resolve any site-related issues.
• Monitor the performance of the construction team, providing direction and oversight as needed.
• Coordinate with clients, PMC, contractors, and other authorities to ensure smooth project progress.
• Supervise and report on the progress of landscaping and irrigation works, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
• Convene and chair site meetings addressing landscape work and activities.
• Ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed on-site.
• Issue and coordinate any additional drawings required during construction in collaboration with the design office.
• Maintain accurate and complete project records, including ‘as-built’ drawings.
• Participate in contract administration and ensure compliance with all project-related documentation.
• Provide on-site direction and issue site instructions for landscaping and irrigation activities.
• Ensure the correctness and completeness of 'as-built' drawings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Agriculture.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in the design and construction supervision of landscape projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Experience in large-scale projects is essential.
• Proven ability to manage teams and perform in a leadership role.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to comply with safety, health, and risk management requirements.
