Walker Sands is seeking a Senior Designer to join their Creative team in a hybrid role at their Seattle office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and activating top-tier visual brand identity systems for B2B brands, leading a small team of designers, and collaborating across various teams such as PR, digital, social media, and creative directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Individual Contribution:
- Collaborate with creative directors, strategists, and copywriters to conceptualize and create award-winning brand identity systems and marketing campaigns.
- Strategic Design: Deliver creative solutions aligned with brand and campaign goals.
- Production Oversight: Lead the production of various creative deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency across digital and print media (e.g., digital ads, presentations, data visualizations).
- Present & Defend design concepts to stakeholders, clearly articulating decisions and gathering feedback.
Creative Leadership:
- Mentorship: Guide a team of 2–3 designers, providing coaching and support focused on growth and skill development.
- Foster Team Culture: Create an inclusive and positive environment where feedback is welcomed and team members thrive.
- Creative Reviews: Participate in critiquing and celebrating the work of colleagues during weekly reviews.
- Stay Current: Bring fresh ideas by staying up-to-date with design trends and best practices.
- Administrative Duties: Handle emails, Trello boards, and manage deadlines while providing feedback on team performance.

- Experience: 4–5 years in a professional design role, preferably with formal training in design.

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $77,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
