Security Engineer

The⠀Security⠀Engineer⠀will be⠀responsible⠀for⠀designing,⠀implementing,⠀and⠀maintaining⠀secure⠀systems⠀and⠀applications,⠀as⠀well

as⠀ensuring⠀the⠀security⠀and⠀integrity⠀of our⠀data and⠀networks.⠀The⠀Security⠀Engineer⠀will work⠀closely⠀with our⠀development

teams⠀to ensure⠀that⠀security⠀is⠀integrated⠀into every⠀stage of⠀the⠀development⠀lifecycle,⠀from⠀design to⠀deployment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design⠀and⠀implement⠀secure⠀systems⠀and⠀applications,⠀including⠀identity⠀and access⠀management,⠀authentication,

authorization,⠀and⠀encryption.

2.⠀Conduct⠀security⠀assessments⠀and⠀penetration⠀testing to⠀identify⠀vulnerabilities⠀and⠀weaknesses,⠀and⠀recommend

remediation⠀strategies.

3.⠀Develop⠀and⠀maintain⠀security⠀policies,⠀standards,⠀and⠀guidelines⠀to ensure⠀compliance⠀with⠀industry⠀regulations⠀and

best⠀practices.

4.⠀Work⠀closely⠀with⠀development⠀teams to⠀ensure⠀that⠀security⠀is⠀integrated⠀into every⠀stage of⠀the⠀development⠀lifecycle.

5.⠀Implement⠀and⠀monitor⠀security⠀controls⠀to protect⠀against⠀unauthorized⠀access,⠀use,⠀disclosure,⠀disruption,⠀modification,

or⠀destruction⠀of data⠀and⠀systems.

6.⠀Respond to⠀security⠀incidents⠀and⠀participate⠀in⠀incident⠀response⠀activities⠀to⠀minimize⠀the impact⠀of⠀security⠀breaches.

7.⠀Collaborate⠀with other⠀departments⠀to ensure⠀that⠀security⠀is aligned⠀with⠀business⠀objectives⠀and⠀strategies.

8.⠀Stay up to⠀date with⠀emerging⠀trends and⠀technologies⠀in⠀cybersecurity⠀and risk⠀management,⠀and⠀recommend⠀ways⠀to

improve⠀our⠀security⠀posture.

Requirements:

1.⠀Bachelor's⠀degree in⠀Computer⠀Science,⠀Information⠀Assurance,⠀Cybersecurity,⠀or a⠀related⠀field.

2.⠀At least 3⠀years of⠀experience⠀in a⠀security⠀engineering⠀role,⠀preferably⠀in a cloud⠀computing⠀or⠀software⠀development

environment.

3.⠀In-depth⠀knowledge⠀of⠀security⠀frameworks,⠀protocols,⠀and⠀standards,⠀such as⠀NIST, ISO⠀27001, SOC⠀2, and PCI⠀DSS.

4.⠀Experience⠀with⠀security⠀technologies,⠀such as⠀firewalls,⠀intrusion⠀detection⠀and⠀prevention⠀systems,⠀antivirus⠀software,

and⠀encryption⠀algorithms.

5.⠀Strong⠀programming⠀skills in⠀languages⠀such as⠀Python,⠀Java, C++,⠀or⠀JavaScript.

6.⠀Familiarity⠀with agile⠀development⠀methodologies⠀and DevOps⠀practices.

7.⠀Excellent⠀problem-solving⠀and⠀analytical⠀skills,⠀with the⠀ability to⠀identify⠀and⠀mitigate⠀potential⠀security⠀risks.

8.⠀Strong⠀communication⠀and⠀collaboration⠀skills,⠀with the⠀ability to⠀work⠀effectively⠀with⠀cross-functional⠀teams.

9.⠀CISSP,⠀CEH, or⠀other⠀relevant⠀security⠀certifications⠀are a⠀plus.
