As a Sales Associate at Vineyard Vines, you’ll play a key role in assisting the management team (Captain, First Mates, and Second Mates) in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales. You will embody our brand promise of "Every Day Should Feel This Good" by making every customer interaction fun, welcoming, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Generate Sales

  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to store targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with top customers.
  • Support the sourcing and execution of in-store events.

2. Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences

  • Bring "Shep & Ian’s vision" to life by hosting a vibrant, engaging store environment.
  • Lead email capture efforts and educate new associates on best practices.
  • Manage and maintain the customer wish list, ensuring timely notifications for product arrivals.

3. Foster Crew Development

  • Assist in training and onboarding new associates.
  • Cultivate an energetic, encouraging, and inclusive team and customer environment.
  • Support recruitment efforts by identifying and referring top talent.
  • Collaborate with the management team to support store activities and team-building initiatives.

4. Ensure Operational Excellence

  • Maintain efficient merchandise control systems.
  • Uphold loss prevention awareness and store security at all times.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting.

5. Support Merchandising Initiatives

  • Maintain merchandising standards according to company guidelines and floor sets.
  • Provide weekly product feedback to the team.
