Safety and Security Program Manager

Greenlight⠀Networks⠀is⠀actively⠀recruiting⠀a Safety⠀and⠀Security⠀Manger to⠀develop,⠀implement⠀and lead a⠀best-in-class⠀Safety and⠀Security⠀function.⠀This⠀critical⠀role will⠀have a⠀unique⠀opportunity⠀to build a⠀safety⠀program⠀across the⠀Greenlight⠀footprint⠀with⠀overall⠀responsibility⠀for⠀functional⠀areas⠀relating⠀to Safety⠀and Risk⠀Management⠀by⠀providing⠀hands-on⠀support⠀and⠀services⠀in safety⠀training,⠀inspections,⠀incident⠀and claims⠀management,⠀investigations,⠀and⠀overall⠀program⠀administration⠀consistent⠀with the⠀Greenlight⠀Network’s⠀mission,⠀vision and⠀values.

Essential Functions

• Leads the⠀development⠀of and⠀articulate⠀the⠀Company’s⠀safety and⠀security⠀vision,⠀objectives,⠀strategies,⠀policies,⠀and⠀procedures⠀building a⠀safety⠀culture⠀dedicated⠀to⠀behaviors⠀which lead⠀to⠀best-in-class⠀results.
• Ensure⠀policies,⠀regulations,⠀and⠀operational⠀processes⠀are⠀updated,⠀communicated⠀and⠀accessible⠀to⠀employees⠀– create⠀and⠀develop⠀policies⠀in⠀accordance⠀with⠀industry⠀regulations⠀and⠀standard⠀as it⠀relates to⠀both⠀safety and⠀security
• Implement⠀and carry⠀out a⠀cadence of⠀inspecting⠀jobsites,⠀fleet,⠀equipment,⠀tools and⠀facilities⠀to⠀identify⠀and⠀correct⠀potential⠀hazards,⠀and to⠀ensure⠀safety⠀regulation⠀compliance.
• Lead⠀the⠀company’s⠀efforts in⠀the⠀continuous⠀self-evaluation⠀and⠀correction⠀of safety⠀requirements,⠀and to⠀facilitate⠀the⠀behavior-based⠀safety⠀approach⠀throughout⠀the⠀organization.
• Conduct⠀safety &⠀security⠀training⠀and⠀education⠀programs,⠀covering⠀key⠀aspects of⠀safe⠀operations⠀ensuring⠀proper⠀documentation⠀and⠀cadence of⠀training⠀across⠀organization.
• Investigate⠀work⠀related⠀accidents⠀and⠀injuries,⠀including⠀interviewing⠀employees⠀or other⠀individuals⠀relating⠀to the⠀incident,⠀to⠀determine⠀causes and⠀preventive⠀measures.⠀Report or⠀review⠀findings⠀from⠀accident⠀investigations⠀and⠀facilities/jobsite⠀inspections⠀as⠀required.
• Manage⠀safety⠀related⠀incidents⠀and claims⠀to⠀minimize⠀loss⠀exposure,⠀including⠀with⠀respect to⠀workers’⠀compensation,⠀general⠀liability,⠀and⠀automobile⠀incidents.
• Manage⠀interactions⠀with OSHA⠀including⠀any⠀investigations,⠀determinations,⠀and⠀resolutions.
• Research⠀and⠀recommend⠀processes⠀and⠀product⠀safety⠀features⠀that will⠀reduce⠀employees'⠀exposure⠀to work⠀hazards.⠀Identify,⠀propose,⠀and lead⠀the⠀implementation⠀of various⠀safety and⠀security⠀equipment.
• Conduct⠀meetings⠀with⠀supervisors⠀and⠀employees⠀to discuss⠀such⠀points as⠀the⠀standards,⠀cited⠀violations,⠀lessons⠀learned,⠀and⠀potential⠀hazards⠀and to⠀resolve⠀disputes⠀regarding⠀occupational⠀safety⠀issues and⠀risk⠀management.
• Identify⠀and⠀implement⠀internal⠀communication⠀initiatives,⠀such as⠀regular⠀and⠀periodic⠀toolbox⠀talks, to⠀increase⠀understanding⠀and⠀commitment⠀to safety⠀and risk⠀management.
• Implement⠀and manage⠀security⠀technologies,⠀such as⠀access⠀control⠀systems,⠀surveillance⠀cameras,⠀and⠀alarms.
• Proactively⠀manage⠀safety and⠀security⠀budget
• Work⠀cross⠀functionally⠀and in a⠀team⠀environment⠀in⠀partnership⠀to exceed⠀company⠀goals and⠀work⠀towards⠀fulfilling⠀mission⠀and vision⠀statement.
• Perform⠀other⠀related⠀duties as⠀assigned.
• Develop⠀and manage⠀incident⠀response⠀plans for⠀various⠀scenarios.
• Coordinate⠀and lead⠀response⠀efforts⠀during⠀emergencies⠀or⠀security⠀incidents.
• Conduct⠀thorough⠀risk⠀assessments⠀to⠀identify⠀potential⠀safety and⠀security⠀hazards.

Our job⠀titles may⠀span more⠀than one⠀career⠀level. The⠀salary⠀range for⠀this role⠀is between⠀$84,000 -⠀$113,000 .⠀The actual⠀salary⠀offered to⠀a⠀candidate⠀may be⠀influenced⠀by a⠀variety of⠀factors,⠀such as:⠀training,⠀transferable⠀skills,⠀work⠀experience,⠀education,⠀business⠀needs,⠀market⠀demands⠀and work⠀location.⠀The base⠀pay range⠀is subject⠀to change⠀and may be⠀modified⠀in the⠀future.
