The Risk Process Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) teams. This position supports the development, execution, and evaluation of models and testing frameworks that underpin risk and capital management processes across the Bank.

This role spans multiple areas, including Consumer Banking, Global Markets, and Enterprise Processes such as Fraud, AML, Payments, and Complaints. Analysts will gain broad exposure to the Bank’s operations while contributing to process excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Partner with Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to identify risks and prioritize modeling and testing needs.
    • Gather requirements and document modeling and testing needs effectively.
  • Model and Test Development:

    • Source and analyze data for modeling and testing.
    • Design and develop models and tests using quantitative methods and programming tools.
    • Document models and tests in a clear, repeatable manner.
  • Execution and Reporting:

    • Execute models and tests and analyze results.
    • Provide detailed reporting and communicate key insights to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Leverage programming and automation skills to enhance existing processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Undergraduate or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Preferred GPA: 3.5 or higher.
    • Areas of study include but are not limited to:
      • Engineering
      • Mathematics/Statistics
      • Finance/Economics
      • Computer/Data Science
      • Accounting/Audit Management/Risk Management
  • Skills:

    • Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficient in teamwork, leadership, and prioritization under strict deadlines.
    • Effective written and verbal communication, with strong presentation skills.
    • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in applying quantitative methods like modeling, data analytics, and machine learning.
  • Programming proficiency (e.g., Python) and familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle principles.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and regulatory landscape.
  • Digital fluency and experience in process improvement or automation.
