This position is situated within Deutsche Bank’s Risk division, specifically supporting the Americas Chief Risk Office (CRO) COO team. The role involves supporting various regulatory and risk management initiatives that impact multiple divisions within the CRO. The successful candidate will help ensure the delivery of regulatory programs, support priority initiatives, and assist in preparing materials for internal and external communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support CRO COO Team:

    • Assist with tasks related to Business Management, Governance, and Regulatory Oversight.
    • Provide support to the CRO Americas team for priority initiatives, regulatory interactions, and requests.
    • Help in the preparation and management of regulatory exams in the U.S.
  • Regulatory Oversight:

    • Oversee regulatory adherence activities in the U.S., ensuring that Risk areas align with new regulations, rules, and announcements.
    • Track open and overdue findings to ensure commitments are met.
  • Governance and Communication:

    • Prepare, review, and maintain materials related to the Remediation Governance Framework.
    • Communicate and escalate issues as needed to ensure successful risk management.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Moderate experience in the finance industry with a basic understanding of Risk types including Market, Credit, Non-Financial, Model, and Liquidity Risk.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and SharePoint.
  • Education: Solid undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a related discipline, or relevant work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build cross-divisional and cross-regional relationships.
  • Project Management skills are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge.
  • Self-starter attitude is highly valued.

  • Employees are expected to work in the Jacksonville, FL office in line with Deutsche Bank’s hybrid working model.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $60,000 to $86,000, depending on factors such as skill set, experience, education, and work location. This range does not include incentive compensation or other types of remuneration.
