Release Manager

The⠀Release⠀Manager⠀will be⠀responsible⠀for⠀managing⠀the⠀release⠀process of⠀our⠀software⠀products,⠀ensuring⠀that they⠀are

delivered⠀on time,⠀within⠀budget,⠀and meet⠀the⠀required⠀quality⠀standards.⠀The⠀Release⠀Manager⠀will work⠀closely⠀with⠀crossfunctional⠀teams,⠀including⠀Development,⠀Quality⠀Assurance,⠀Product⠀Management,⠀and⠀Operations,⠀to ensure⠀that⠀releases⠀are

properly⠀planned,⠀executed,⠀and⠀deployed.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage⠀the entire⠀release⠀process,⠀from⠀planning⠀to⠀deployment,⠀for all⠀software⠀products.

2.⠀Coordinate⠀with⠀cross-functional⠀teams to⠀ensure⠀that⠀releases⠀are⠀properly⠀planned,⠀executed,⠀and⠀deployed.

3.⠀Define and⠀execute⠀release⠀plans,⠀including⠀schedules,⠀milestones,⠀and⠀delivery⠀dates.

4.⠀Ensure⠀that⠀releases⠀meet the⠀required⠀quality⠀standards⠀by working⠀closely⠀with the⠀Quality⠀Assurance⠀team.

5.⠀Identify⠀and⠀mitigate⠀risks⠀associated⠀with⠀releases.

6.⠀Communicate⠀release⠀plans and⠀status to⠀stakeholders,⠀including⠀product⠀managers,⠀developers,⠀and⠀operations⠀teams.

7.⠀Document⠀and⠀maintain⠀release⠀processes,⠀procedures,⠀and⠀metrics.

8.⠀Continuously⠀improve⠀release⠀processes⠀and⠀workflows⠀to⠀increase⠀efficiency⠀and⠀quality.

9.⠀Monitor⠀and⠀analyze⠀release⠀metrics to⠀identify⠀areas for⠀improvement.

10.⠀Provide⠀input on⠀resource⠀allocation⠀and⠀capacity⠀planning⠀for⠀releases.

11.⠀Participate⠀in on-call⠀rotation⠀for⠀production⠀support⠀and issue⠀resolution.

Requirements:

1.⠀Bachelor's⠀degree in⠀Computer⠀Science,⠀Engineering,⠀or a⠀related⠀field.

2.⠀At least 3⠀years of⠀experience⠀in a⠀Release⠀Manager or⠀similar⠀role.

3.⠀Proven⠀track⠀record of⠀successfully⠀delivering⠀software⠀releases⠀on time⠀and within⠀budget.

4.⠀Strong⠀understanding⠀of⠀software⠀development⠀life⠀cycles and⠀methodologies.

5.⠀Excellent⠀communication⠀and⠀coordination⠀skills,⠀with the⠀ability to⠀work⠀effectively⠀with⠀cross-functional⠀teams.

6.⠀Strong⠀analytical⠀and⠀problem-solving⠀skills,⠀with the⠀ability to⠀identify⠀and⠀mitigate⠀risks.

7.⠀Experience⠀with⠀version⠀control⠀systems,⠀continuous⠀integration⠀and⠀delivery⠀tools, and⠀automated⠀testing⠀frameworks.

8.⠀Familiarity⠀with Agile⠀methodologies⠀and Lean⠀principles.

9.⠀Strong⠀leadership⠀and⠀mentoring⠀skills,⠀with the⠀ability to⠀guide and⠀motivate⠀team⠀members.

10.⠀Experience⠀with Cloud⠀platforms⠀and SaaS⠀delivery⠀models is⠀a⠀plus.

11.⠀Certification⠀in project⠀management⠀(e.g.,⠀PMP) or a⠀related⠀field is⠀desirable.
