Key Responsibilities:

  • Agent Recruitment and Appointment: Identify and recommend qualified agents for Farm & Ranch and Commercial Agribusiness, supporting Chubb's expansion in the assigned territory.
  • Broker Engagement and Relationship Building: Conduct broker meetings to promote Chubb Agribusiness products, facilitating effective partnerships with brokers to acquire necessary underwriting information.
  • Territorial Analysis and Planning: Analyze market opportunities, assess broker distribution, and implement a targeted business plan aligned with growth objectives. Monthly meetings with brokers will track progress.
  • Internal Collaboration and Public Engagement: Foster productive working relationships across the Chubb Agribusiness group and within the organization. Represent Chubb at agricultural meetings and industry events as required.
  • Marketing and Project Coordination: Collaborate with Agribusiness to create and execute approved marketing and advertising campaigns with key brokers. Handle special projects within the assigned territory as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Educational and Professional Background: Bachelor’s degree is required, with sales and marketing experience preferred. Knowledge of property & casualty insurance, especially agribusiness-specific, is beneficial.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Familiarity with property and casualty underwriting rules.
    • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
    • Ability to recruit, train, and manage agents and brokers.
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
