Job Summary:

Greenberg Traurig is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its growing real estate practice in 2024. As a Real Estate Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, representing both private and institutional clients across a wide range of projects. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a firm committed to inclusion and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development.
  • Work on due diligence for real estate transactions, reviewing title documents, surveys, and other transaction-related materials.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and other related legal documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex real estate projects.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing advice on real estate matters and ensuring legal compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Experience:
    • 1-4 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
    • Experience with acquisition, financing, leasing, and development work is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
