Primary Responsibilities

  • Verify figures, journal entries, and documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to internal policies and procedures.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial information using journals, ledgers, and computer systems.
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, statistical, and payroll reports and tables.
  • Complete period-end procedures and reports as specified.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue accounts, invoices, and statements according to company procedures.
  • Follow up and resolve overdue accounts and vendor invoices until full payment is received.
  • Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all employees handling cash.
  • Document, maintain, and communicate any cash discrepancies and take appropriate actions.
  • Manage and prepare cash boxes and contracts related to cash handling.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Protect company assets, privacy, and security of guests and colleagues.
  • Maintain positive working relationships, support common goals, and respond appropriately to colleague concerns.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.


Skills and Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.


Personal Competencies

  • Clear and professional use of language.
  • Accuracy in preparing and reviewing written documents.
  • Proper telephone protocol handling.
  • Teamwork and support of common objectives.
  • Ability to move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds unassisted.
