The role focuses on managing large, complex enterprise-level projects, requiring a balance of Agile and traditional project management methodologies, especially suited for the energy sector.

The position is based in Abu Dhabi and entails responsibilities like overseeing full project lifecycles, managing multiple teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring exceptional business value through software solutions. Candidates with experience in software development, especially those familiar with upstream operations in the oil and gas industry, would be ideal.

Key qualifications include:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in project management using Agile.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycles, conceptual modeling, and data consolidation.
  • Skills in technical problem-solving, programming languages (SQL, Java, etc.), and systems architecture.

Preferred qualifications, such as an MBA, PMI certifications, and knowledge of SCRUM/Agile methodologies, are highly valued, as is experience in oil and gas project management.

This position also requires international travel (up to 50%) and may offer visa sponsorship for exceptional candidates willing to relocate to the UAE.
