Project Construction Engineer

• Managing⠀and⠀supervising⠀all the⠀daily⠀activities⠀(civil and⠀MEP) of⠀project’s⠀construction⠀and ensure⠀compliance⠀to all⠀plans and⠀specifications.
• Preparing⠀all site⠀surveys⠀and⠀setting⠀out⠀site.
• Checking⠀technical⠀designs⠀and⠀drawings⠀for⠀accuracy⠀and to⠀ensure⠀that they⠀are⠀followed⠀correctly.
• Supervising⠀contracted⠀staff.
• Ensuring⠀project⠀packages⠀meet⠀agreed⠀specifications,⠀budgets⠀and/or⠀timescales.
• Liaising⠀with⠀project´s⠀parties,⠀subcontractors,⠀local⠀authority⠀employees,⠀RE.
• Providing⠀technical⠀advice and⠀solving⠀problems⠀on⠀site.
• Preparing⠀site⠀reports⠀and⠀logging⠀progress.
• Ensuring⠀that⠀health and⠀safety and⠀sustainability⠀policies⠀and⠀legislation⠀are⠀adhered⠀to.
• Organizing⠀materials⠀and⠀ensuring⠀sites are⠀safe and⠀clean.
• Ensure⠀that used⠀Materials,⠀Shop⠀drawings,⠀Method⠀Statements,⠀Equipment⠀and Teams⠀of Labors⠀are⠀approved⠀before⠀commencement⠀of the⠀work.
• Inspecting⠀Materials⠀provided⠀by⠀Suppliers⠀and⠀Sub-contractors⠀and their⠀Programs⠀in⠀compliance⠀with⠀approved⠀samples⠀and⠀documents.
• Preparing⠀cost⠀estimates⠀and⠀ensuring⠀appropriate⠀materials⠀and tools⠀are⠀available.
• Providing⠀technical⠀advice and⠀suggestions⠀for⠀improvement⠀on⠀particular⠀projects.
• Diagnosing⠀and⠀troubleshooting⠀equipment⠀as⠀required.
• Negotiating⠀with⠀suppliers⠀and⠀vendors to⠀ensure the⠀best⠀contracts.
• Authorizing⠀technical⠀drawings⠀and⠀engineering⠀plans.
• Drawing⠀up work⠀schedules⠀and⠀communicating⠀any⠀adjustments⠀to crew⠀members⠀and RE.

Qualifications : Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 7-10 years practical experience in Civil and MEP Engineering and Construction works;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English - verbal and written, Arabic will be advantage.
• Strong team player
• Using AutoCAD, Microsoft, Excel, word…etc.
