Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a specialist for employment services and unemployment insurance (UI) programs.
  • Collect and review information related to programs like RESEA, RESP, WOTC, and HTF.
  • Use systems like Illinois Job Link (IJL) and Illinois Benefit Information System (IBIS) to manage accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor and assess training programs to enhance employability skills for clients.
  • Utilize software (MS Outlook, Word, Excel) for data entry, compliance checks, and report generation.
  • Support administrative functions related to program management.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences OR 4 years of experience in program research, evaluation, or design (2 years at a professional level).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in UI programs and systems (e.g., RESEA, RESP, WOTC).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with labor exchange systems and file-sharing applications (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive).
