PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

The Framing Material Preparation Specialist is responsible for preparing all raw materials required for framing projects, including sizing and cutting materials to meet specific customer needs. This role demands accuracy, speed, and proficiency in the operation of framing equipment. Additionally, the position involves maintaining inventory levels, replenishing supplies, and managing material orders and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Preparation: Accurately and promptly cut all materials required for framing projects, ensuring that all customer specifications are met.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records of all stock items, ensuring sufficient materials are available for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Supply Orders: Prepare orders for vendor stock and framing supplies as needed to support production.
• Receiving Deliveries: Receive and inspect deliveries and material shipments, ensuring they meet quality standards and are properly stored.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment used in material preparation. Perform routine checks and minor maintenance as required.
• Work Area Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards, following safety protocols.
• Quality Control: Check the accuracy of materials, including samples, and replace items as necessary to meet the required standards.
