Role Overview

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency of the production line and ensuring that products meet Ferrero's high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing machinery operations, inspecting products, maintaining documentation, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation & Maintenance:
    • Inspect, align, and remove products from the conveyor.
    • Ensure proper operation of machinery, including ovens, wrappers, and cartoners.
    • Make necessary adjustments to machinery to maintain quality standards.
    • Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery malfunctions.
  • Product Inspection:
    • Monitor products through the production process to ensure quality (e.g., size, color, bake).
    • Inspect defective products and handle appropriately (repack, rework, or dispose).
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records, including temperature logs, quality checks, and product counts.
    • Follow lot tracking and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Sanitation & Safety:
    • Maintain cleanliness in the production area.
    • Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Packaging & Stacking:
    • Assist in case packing, labeling, and stacking products for shipping.
    • Ensure packaging materials are free of defects.
    • Move finished goods to the designated shipping area.

  • Flexibility: Must be available to work various shifts and assist in different areas as needed.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and maintenance staff.
  • Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand or walk continuously throughout the shift.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to read factory documents, follow equipment operation procedures, and ensure product quality.
  • Documentation: Able to complete paperwork as necessary, including material usage and quality records.
