Regulatory Leadership:
Oversee the registration and regulatory defense of pesticide products.
Develop and implement registration strategies for domestic and international markets.
Prepare and submit FIFRA dossiers and support international submissions.
Data Management and Safety Assessments:
Lead generation and analysis of safety data (e.g., toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate, exposure assessments).
Monitor and conduct Endangered Species Act assessments and other safety evaluations.
Represent the company in regulatory task forces and industry groups.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with internal teams (acquisitions, sales, R&D) and external regulatory bodies.
Attend industry meetings and conferences to stay updated on regulatory trends and practices.
Strategic Planning and Reporting:
Play a key role in expanding product uses and registrations.
Provide technical review and contribute to risk assessments.
Analyze and report on regulatory trends.
Education:
Ph.D. in a relevant technical field (e.g., toxicology, chemistry, ecotoxicology) with 5+ years of experience.
MS degree with 8+ years of experience.
BS degree with 10+ years of experience.
Experience:
Knowledge of EPA FIFRA pesticide registration requirements.
Proven track record in managing regulatory submissions and negotiations with federal agencies.
Skills:
Strong technical writing, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Proficient in managing complex projects and working independently.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% for industry conferences and regulatory meetings.
