Position Overview:
Arthrex is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst II to join its Engineering Technologies team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes, experience in application management within an enterprise environment, and the ability to provide high-quality user support and training. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to shape business requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure the stability and integration of production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Process Understanding:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of relevant business areas and processes.
  • Recommend solutions and shape business requirements by offering alternatives to proposed solutions.

• Application Management:

  • Participate in application configuration, analysis, management, and maintenance in an enterprise environment.
  • Handle access administration, user onboarding, issue resolution, patching, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery.
  • Monitor system logs, escalate unusual activities, and recommend resolutions.

• Project Participation:

  • Lead or participate in project delivery.
  • Provide application end-user support and respond to or escalate incidents.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits under management direction.
  • Coordinate application needs from back-end platforms through the user interface, ensuring production system stability and integrity.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Participate in application security and identity management assessments.
  • Adhere to Quality System Procedures and Change Control processes.

• Documentation and Communication:

  • Create artifacts such as business case documentation, scope documentation, functional and operational requirements, process flows, and test cases.
  • Communicate technical options, limitations, costs, and risks to business partners.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to resolve competing priorities.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work with cloud technology, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Follow established methodologies for documenting business requirements.
• Create and maintain application operational and instructional documentation.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 on-call support.
• Diagnose and resolve system faults and errors, benchmarking processes against industry best practices.
• Contribute to the development of roadmaps and manage projects with limited scope.

Specialized Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Experience working on matrix-structured projects is a plus.
• PMP certification in Project Management technologies preferred.
• Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
• Experience with PLM and ALM systems preferred.
• Involvement in deploying or optimizing new technologies is a plus.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience in matrix-structured projects is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in current computer applications, including collaboration tools, email, word processing, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications such as ERP, PLM, DMS, MES, Workfront, and BI.
