Product Cost Analyst

This role is responsible for managing raw material costs, setting gift pricing, and achieving target margins across all customer accounts. The role requires providing Product Designers with cost objectives for all cost categories during the gift development process. Accurate cost recording in the Centric system is essential, including component costs, labor, freight, and accruals. This position involves analyzing cost trends to identify components with above-trend cost increases and working with relevant departments to resolve these discrepancies. Additionally, it includes analyzing sold quantities by customer, category, and retail to ensure accurate gift records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee target costs for Product Designers across all cost categories during gift development.
• Ensure Centric system accuracy by recording costs for components, labor, freight, and accruals.
• Track cost trends to identify and address components with atypical cost increases.
• Analyze quantities of sold gifts by customer, category, and retail to set up accurate gift records.
• Collaborate with Costing Line Review team members to confirm timely and accurate cost entries.
• Work with product development to make adjustments that reduce costs when inefficiencies are identified.
• Identify discrepancies in PLM versus Baan BOMs for DTC business and route issues to appropriate departments.
• Maintain a status report for purchase orders in DTC business.
• Support Product Development by setting up gift records, managing BOMs, creating components, and routing component workflows.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
