Procurement Assistant

• Responsible⠀for⠀pre-qualifying⠀vendors as⠀per the⠀company⠀requirements.
• Request⠀for⠀Quotation⠀– Send⠀Enquiry to⠀suppliers⠀as per our⠀material⠀requirement⠀and⠀receives⠀quotations⠀from the⠀supplier.
• Do⠀initial⠀negotiation⠀with the⠀supplier⠀and submit⠀to⠀procurement⠀specialist⠀for⠀finalization.
• Submitting⠀quotations⠀with⠀comparison⠀sheet to⠀procurement⠀specialist⠀for final⠀approval.
• Track⠀the status⠀of⠀purchase⠀requisitions,⠀purchase⠀order and⠀Contact⠀suppliers⠀to⠀schedule⠀or⠀expedite⠀deliveries⠀and to⠀resolve⠀shortages,⠀missed or⠀late⠀deliveries.
• Update⠀the order⠀status to⠀end user⠀as per the⠀agreed⠀delivery⠀date.
• Supervises⠀the⠀inspection⠀of all⠀material⠀supplies⠀at the⠀time of⠀delivery,⠀services⠀and⠀equipment⠀purchased⠀with end⠀user to⠀ensure⠀conformance⠀with⠀specifications.
• Receiving⠀invoice⠀from the⠀supplier⠀and⠀forwarding⠀to⠀accounts⠀with all⠀necessary⠀documents⠀and⠀approvals⠀for⠀processing⠀the⠀payment.
• Informing⠀supplier⠀for the⠀payment or⠀cheque⠀collection⠀once ready⠀from our⠀accounts.
• Maintaining⠀good⠀relationship⠀with the⠀suppliers.
• Prepare,⠀maintain⠀and update⠀purchasing⠀files and⠀supplier’s⠀data⠀base.
• Dynamics⠀AX –⠀Entering⠀the⠀purchase⠀order in⠀Dynamics⠀AX for⠀local⠀purchase,⠀Import⠀purchase⠀for raw⠀material⠀and for⠀sales⠀order.⠀Receiving⠀invoice in⠀the system⠀after the⠀confirmation⠀from end⠀user for⠀processing⠀the⠀payment.
• Filling⠀of IMS⠀documents⠀and submit⠀the⠀documents⠀at the⠀time of⠀audit.
• Responsible⠀for cash⠀purchase⠀and pantry⠀supplies⠀of⠀AOME.
• Responsible⠀for⠀disposing⠀of scrap⠀and⠀selling of⠀used⠀scarp.
• Performs⠀other⠀duties as⠀assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory control
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (nice to have)
