Process Design Coordinator

HDR seeks an Industrial Water/Wastewater Process Design Coordinator to join our Rosemont office. In this role, you'll work closely with the RBG’s IWW leadership team and technical practitioners, contributing to innovative solutions for clients in the Industrial Market Sector. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in fostering sustainable water solutions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate chemical and process aspects for IWW projects.
• Perform routine chemical and process assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
• Write and edit chemical and process specifications.
• Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using engineering software.
• Work independently on small projects and support senior engineers on larger projects.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in computer tools like Microsoft Office and equipment selection software.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (candidates without EIT certification will hold the title "Coordinator" and will be required to obtain it for career advancement).
• Experience with Trane TRACE or similar software.
