We⠀are⠀looking⠀for a⠀Principal⠀Process⠀Engineering⠀Technician⠀to join⠀our⠀talented⠀team in⠀Fremont,⠀CA. As a⠀uniquely⠀qualified⠀candidate,⠀you will:
- Work⠀closely⠀with⠀engineering⠀to develop⠀new⠀process⠀parameters,⠀tooling,⠀and⠀methods⠀for⠀manufacturing.
- Executes⠀equipment⠀installation⠀qualifications.
- Work⠀with other⠀technicians/operators⠀to⠀implement⠀assembly⠀techniques,⠀inspection⠀methods⠀and⠀required⠀documentation.
- Work⠀with⠀engineers⠀to⠀streamline⠀processes⠀to meet⠀manufacturing⠀build⠀times and⠀yield⠀targets.
- Leverage⠀previous⠀methods/processes/equipment/tooling⠀on new⠀applications.
- Verify⠀components⠀meet⠀specifications⠀through⠀benchtop,⠀functional,⠀and load⠀testing.
- Work⠀with⠀engineers⠀to⠀generate⠀draft work⠀instructions,⠀test⠀methods,⠀and visual⠀standards.
- Supports⠀process⠀characterization⠀by⠀collecting⠀and⠀analyzing⠀data.
- Follow⠀good⠀manufacturing⠀practices⠀(GMP) and⠀company⠀Operating⠀Procedures:⠀line⠀clearance,⠀work⠀instructions,⠀lot⠀travelers,⠀etc.
- Communicate⠀issues to⠀engineering⠀for⠀collaborative⠀continuous⠀improvements.
- Maintain⠀cleanliness⠀of the⠀work⠀environment.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of⠀5 years in⠀medical⠀device⠀manufacturing⠀(catheter⠀assembly⠀preferred)
- Demonstrated⠀ability⠀with⠀typical⠀processes/methods/equipment/tooling⠀related to⠀medical⠀device⠀manufacturing⠀and⠀inspection⠀(catheter⠀manufacturing⠀preferred).
- Able⠀to⠀troubleshoot⠀typical⠀issues on⠀existing⠀processes/methods/equipment/tooling.
- Extremely⠀hands on⠀with⠀strong⠀mechanical⠀aptitude.
- Ability⠀to read⠀engineering⠀drawings⠀and⠀understand⠀inspection⠀requirements.
- Good⠀written⠀and verbal⠀communication⠀skills.
- Knowledge⠀of medical⠀device⠀processing⠀equipment⠀and⠀manufacturing⠀processes⠀(catheter⠀manufacturing⠀preferred).
- General⠀knowledge⠀of some of⠀the⠀following⠀process:⠀Braiding,⠀Adhesive⠀Bonding,⠀Lamination,⠀Die⠀Bonding,⠀Machining,⠀Injection⠀Molding,⠀Laser⠀Welding.
- Follow⠀good⠀manufacturing⠀practices⠀(GMP) and⠀company⠀Operating⠀Procedures:⠀line⠀clearance,⠀work⠀instructions,⠀lot⠀travelers,⠀etc.
- Attention⠀to detail,⠀professional⠀attitude,⠀team⠀player
