We’re⠀looking⠀for a⠀Customer⠀Service⠀Pharmacy⠀Technician⠀to join⠀our⠀PharmScript⠀team⠀within our⠀Customer⠀Service⠀department.⠀In this⠀role,⠀you’ll⠀be⠀responsible⠀for⠀triaging⠀incoming⠀calls from⠀nursing⠀facilities⠀to process⠀and⠀coordinate⠀for⠀patient⠀care.The⠀ideal⠀candidate⠀will have⠀strong⠀attention⠀to detail⠀and is an⠀effective⠀communicator.⠀They are⠀always a⠀team⠀player,⠀eager to⠀jump in⠀where⠀needed and⠀collaborate⠀with⠀others to⠀support⠀the goals⠀of the⠀pharmacy⠀and needs⠀of⠀customers.

Responsibilities:

Triaging⠀of⠀incoming⠀phone⠀calls from⠀nursing⠀facilities
Processing⠀of verbal⠀requests⠀for⠀medication
Providing⠀status or⠀confirmation⠀of⠀medication⠀delivery
Troubleshooting
Outgoing⠀clarifications⠀of⠀medication⠀orders and⠀patient⠀demographic⠀data
Coordination⠀of⠀incoming⠀Medication⠀Orders⠀both via⠀fax and by⠀electronic⠀interface

Qualifications:

High⠀school⠀diploma or⠀GED⠀required
Must⠀be a⠀registered⠀pharmacy⠀technician⠀in the⠀applicable⠀state
Previous⠀customer⠀service⠀experience⠀preferred
1⠀year or⠀more⠀long-term⠀care,⠀retail⠀pharmacy,⠀or⠀hospital⠀pharmacy⠀experience⠀preferred
Knowledge⠀of Brand⠀Name/Generic⠀medications
Moderate⠀to⠀advanced⠀computer⠀skills⠀required
Framework/DocuTrack⠀knowledge⠀a⠀plus
Ability⠀to work⠀independently⠀in a team⠀environment
