Seattle City Light is seeking a People and Culture Personnel Specialist Assistant to support its Race and Social Justice Initiatives, Workforce Development, Talent Acquisition, and Apprenticeship programs. This role is based at the Seattle Municipal Tower and other service centers and reports to the Director of People and Culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Handle complex scheduling to support Division activities.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service and staff the People and Culture Office front desk as needed.
- Cross-Functional Support: Liaise with other divisions and Personnel Specialists to support Division work.
- Point of Contact: Manage incoming candidates and employees with HR needs.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Administrative Support: Organize meetings, manage travel logistics, and support executive leadership.
- Data Management: Compile reports, maintain confidential files, and manage unit calendars and databases.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Two years of progressively responsible clerical work in a personnel office or equivalent experience.
- Desired:
- Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, business, public administration, human resources, or related field.
- Strong relationship management, adaptability, and experience with confidential documents.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and databases.
Additional Details:
- Salary: $32.42 to $37.82 per hour.
