Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is hiring a Patient Services Representative for their Cancer Services. This full-time position offers a key role in providing customer service and front office support to patients. The role also involves coordinating communications between staff, patients, and providers, managing patient check-in processes, and handling clerical tasks via the Epic electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Check-in: Facilitate the check-in process for patients and coordinate communications among staff, patients, and providers.
  • Record Management: Collect and distribute patient records using the electronic medical record system (Epic).
  • Clerical Tasks: Perform scheduling and record activities to support patients and the medical team.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional service and help manage patient experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility preferred.
    • Prior experience in physician offices, hospitals, or customer service roles is beneficial.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Strong telephone etiquette.
    • Ability to work well in stressful situations and multitask efficiently.
    • Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
