Job Summary:

As a Sales Associate at Dainese, your role is to provide an excellent, customer-focused shopping experience, assist customers with their purchases, and maintain a well-organized store. Your sales-driven attitude, strong communication skills, and love for motorcycles will help you excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Offer friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, suggesting products and providing detailed information.
• Sales Performance: Drive sales by engaging customers and using suggestive selling techniques.
• Product Knowledge: Build a solid understanding of the store’s product offerings and price points.
• Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is neat and orderly by organizing products on the sales floor and back storage area. Assist with unloading deliveries and restocking items.
• Returns & Exchanges: Handle returns or exchanges in accordance with store policy.
• Loss Prevention: Be vigilant about store security and report any suspicious activity to management.
• Communication: Answer retail phones and respond to customer emails.
• Team Meetings & Training: Participate in store meetings and training sessions to keep up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies.
• Special Events & Travel: Assist with off-site events and occasional overtime for special projects or events.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent; 2 years of related experience in a sales role, preferably in structured retail environments such as sports, fashion, or jewelry.
• Skills: Sales-driven, excellent communication skills, and a love for motorcycle gear (or a willingness to learn about it).
• Language Skills: Bilingual candidates are a plus.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and assist in store organization.
• Work Environment: Indoor, with moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Commensurate with experience (DOE), includes vacation benefits, commission, and bonus incentives.
• Hours: Part-time, with some travel and occasional overtime for events required.
