RiseBoro Community Partnership is dedicated to serving underserved communities in New York City since 1973. Our programs encompass housing, health, education, youth development, and more, aiming to empower communities and eliminate disparities.

Purpose of Position:
As an Outreach Team Member, you will represent RiseBoro in the community, engaging with prospective clients, service providers, and stakeholders to promote the HomeBase Program and other services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach to raise awareness of the HomeBase Program.
  • Participate in strategic sessions to develop outreach activities.
  • Create educational materials on homelessness prevention and resources.
  • Build relationships with community organizations for referral processes.
  • Facilitate presentations on housing stability and tenant rights.
  • Schedule client interviews with the Human Resources Administration (HRA).
  • Promote services at community meetings.
  • Collaborate with Empowerment Division programs as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
  • 3 years of experience in social services, with at least 1 year in housing-related programs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of public benefits and assistance programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
