Pump Station Maintenance

We are⠀looking⠀for a⠀motivated⠀and⠀experienced⠀Operations⠀Manager to⠀oversee⠀our Pump⠀Station⠀maintenance⠀contract.⠀As the⠀Operations⠀Manager,⠀you will⠀be⠀responsible⠀for the⠀day-to-day⠀management⠀and⠀strategic⠀leadership⠀of the⠀pump⠀stations.⠀You will⠀work⠀closely⠀with a⠀team of⠀skilled⠀professionals⠀to ensure⠀the⠀efficient⠀and⠀reliable⠀functioning⠀of the⠀pump⠀stations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team⠀Leadership:⠀Lead and⠀inspire a⠀team of⠀dedicated⠀professionals,⠀including⠀pump⠀station⠀operators⠀and⠀maintenance⠀staff, to⠀ensure a⠀high level⠀of⠀productivity⠀and job⠀satisfaction.
• Operations⠀Oversight:⠀Manage the⠀daily⠀operations⠀of our⠀pump⠀stations,⠀including⠀scheduling,⠀maintenance,⠀and⠀repairs to⠀maximize⠀up-time⠀and⠀efficiency.
• Quality⠀Assurance:⠀Implement⠀and⠀maintain⠀stringent⠀quality⠀control⠀processes⠀to ensure⠀the⠀reliability⠀and⠀performance⠀of our⠀pump⠀stations.
• Budget⠀Management:⠀Monitor⠀and manage⠀the budget⠀for the⠀Pump⠀Station⠀maintenance,⠀working to⠀optimize⠀costs and⠀resource⠀allocation.
• Regulatory⠀Compliance:⠀Ensure⠀that all⠀pump⠀station⠀maintenance⠀meet⠀regulatory⠀and⠀environmental⠀standards⠀and that⠀the⠀necessary⠀permits⠀and⠀licenses⠀are in⠀place.
• Safety:⠀Prioritize⠀and⠀enforce⠀safety⠀protocols⠀and⠀practices⠀to create⠀a secure⠀work⠀environment⠀for all⠀employees.
• Client⠀Relations:⠀Foster⠀positive⠀relationships⠀with⠀clients⠀and⠀address⠀any⠀concerns⠀or issues⠀promptly⠀and⠀professionally.

Requirements:

• Good⠀knowledge⠀of plant⠀and⠀equipment⠀function.
• Good⠀Knowledge⠀of trouble⠀shooting⠀when a⠀plant⠀malfunctions⠀and⠀suggest⠀emergency⠀measures⠀if⠀required.
• Good⠀knowledge⠀of⠀manpower⠀management⠀utilization.
• Protection⠀against⠀natural⠀events(⠀rain,⠀sandstorm⠀and heat⠀)
• NEBOSH⠀Safety⠀certificate
• Obnoxious⠀odour⠀Management
• ISO⠀9001,⠀14001 &⠀OHSAS⠀18001
• Lean⠀/ Six⠀Sigma

Qualifications:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Chemical)
• Minimum 10 yrs in Wastewater industry or 12 yrs in similar Role

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Wastewater Industry: 10 years (Required)

Language:

• English (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving license (Required)
