 Metropolitan Capital is seeking a motivated and energetic Office and Event Support Assistant to join our fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with a team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth within a dynamic and expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception Duties:

  • Greet and assist clients, guests, and visitors.
  • Answer the main phone line and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Ensure the lobby area is clean and well-organized.
  • Ensure the main doors open and close according to branch hours.

Mail and Courier Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail to the appropriate mailboxes.
  • Maintain records of undeliverable and returned mail.
  • Handle outgoing mail and deliveries (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) as requested.

Scheduling and Event Support:

  • Assist with the planning and organization of corporate events for clients and staff.
  • Schedule meetings, including Board of Director meetings and Investment Committee meetings, using Outlook Calendar as requested by team members.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Order snacks, beverages, and lunch items as needed.
  • Run errands within the local area as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Handle other duties and special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of banking experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
