Square is hiring a Mid Market Business Development Representative to join their team. This role focuses on expanding Square's mid-market business by identifying and reaching out to potential sellers and promoting Square’s solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Pipeline Management: Handle a diverse pipeline of businesses, prioritize outreach, and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Outreach: Conduct cold calls, send emails, and use social selling to connect with potential clients.
  • Sales Approach: Use a solutions-based sales approach to address business challenges and demonstrate the value of Square’s offerings.
  • Career Growth: Grow within the sales team through developmental opportunities and mentorship from Account Executives.
  • Quota Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.

Qualifications:

  • Basic:
    • 1+ year in a B2B prospecting role with cold sales outreach experience.
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • Personal leadership, team player attitude, curiosity, and energy.
    • Enthusiasm for sales and cold calling.
    • Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
