The Merger Solutions Analyst will collaborate with both business stakeholders and technologists to develop and support integration solutions for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and manage requirements from all stakeholders, converting business objectives into technical specifications.
- Analyze business goals and needs, assess alternatives, and propose innovative solutions.
- Identify opportunities for improving integration processes and solutions in M&A activities.
- Continuously expand knowledge in the field by staying current on the M&A process within Baker Tilly and understanding each transaction's impact on workstations and user requirements.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance integration solutions.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to maintain expertise.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or a related field; certifications such as MCP or MCSE are preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with all levels of management, clients, and external business contacts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Prior knowledge of professional services or accounting software and business practices is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role ranges from $84,430 to $145,560 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
