Key Responsibilities

• Seasonal Merchandising: Oversee the development of seasonal merchandising and buying plans, collaborating with local management and the UK merchandising team.
• Sales Performance: Analyze merchandise performance at the store level and develop actionable strategies to achieve sales objectives.
• Product Curation: Work with buying and design teams to curate seasonal assortments that align with market trends, customer insights, and sales goals.
• Stock Management: Manage stock levels and ensure optimal product placement to meet customer demand, maximizing sell-through rates.
• Market Research: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to inform product selections and pricing strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams, including Logistics, Operations, Planning, and Marketing, to optimize product availability, support launches, and enhance customer experiences.
• Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to track performance, identify top sellers, and recommend improvements for underperforming styles.
• Training Coordination: Coordinate product training for store employees to enhance awareness of seasonal collections and trends.

Skills and Experience

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 3-5 years in merchandising, preferably within luxury or premium fashion brands.
• Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of product lifecycle, sales analytics, and customer behavior.
• Collaboration: Proven experience working collaboratively with internal and external teams.
• Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong planning and organizational abilities, with a positive demeanor.
• Market Awareness: A passion for fashion and trends, with a deep understanding of the Paul Smith brand aesthetic.
