The Merchandise Planning Manager for HOLLY HUNT Textiles is responsible for overseeing the textiles business, including merchandising strategy, launch coordination, and program management. This role involves identifying trends, guiding product lifecycle decisions, managing inventory, and working cross-functionally to ensure seamless product launches and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Oversee data entry for new products and maintain data integrity for existing items. Ensure all products are accurately listed on the website and in the system.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Create, update, and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and metrics for the business unit.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with Freight teams to manage product movement to/from warehouses and showrooms and ensure product is packed and shipped as needed.
  • Production & Inventory Management: Place orders for in-stock and consignment products, manage inventory, and work closely with capacity planners to forecast needs.
  • Price & Vendor Coordination: Participate in the yearly price increase process and collaborate with Marketing and vendors to update products and materials on the website.
  • Product Launches: Support product launches, including managing the flow of products for photography, website assets, and marketing. Ensure timely execution of product-related tasks.
  • Consignment Management: Oversee the consignment process, including sales analysis, inventory management, and showroom requests.
  • Client Services & Showroom Support: Manage showroom inquiries and become the subject matter expert for the department’s products.
  • Training & Development: Train new hires on business systems, reporting, and product knowledge. Assist Business Unit leaders with strategic presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a related field, particularly within luxury product merchandising or a similar industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of high-end luxury products and client buying behavior.
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
