- Directs⠀department⠀operations⠀(e.g.⠀safety⠀programs,⠀site⠀repairs/construction,⠀preventative⠀maintenance,⠀etc.) for⠀the⠀purpose of⠀providing⠀services⠀within⠀established⠀time⠀frames and⠀in⠀compliance⠀with⠀related⠀requirements.
- Ensures⠀quality⠀and⠀responsiveness⠀of⠀maintenance⠀and⠀operations⠀activities⠀which⠀include⠀inspection⠀of all⠀aspects of⠀new⠀construction,⠀repair⠀work,⠀projects,⠀equipment,⠀work⠀orders,⠀daily⠀maintenance,⠀and⠀supplies⠀for the⠀purpose of⠀ensuring⠀that all⠀jobs are⠀completed⠀efficiently,⠀specifications⠀are within⠀regulatory⠀requirements,⠀and⠀inspection⠀reports⠀and⠀payment⠀requests⠀are⠀correct.
- Ensures⠀facilities⠀and⠀operations⠀are in⠀compliance⠀with state⠀and⠀federal⠀governing⠀regulations.
- Procures⠀all work⠀in⠀compliance⠀with⠀public⠀contract⠀code and⠀all⠀governing⠀regulations.
- Assesses⠀incidents,⠀complaints,⠀etc. (e.g.⠀building⠀break-ins,⠀utility⠀problems)⠀for the⠀purpose of⠀resolving⠀or⠀recommending⠀a⠀resolution⠀to the⠀situation.
- Update⠀and⠀maintain⠀an⠀organization-wide⠀deferred⠀maintenance⠀program.
- Supervises⠀and⠀participates⠀in skilled⠀and⠀semi-skilled⠀jobs; uses⠀plumbing,⠀carpentry,⠀and⠀electrical⠀tools to⠀perform⠀general⠀maintenance⠀work on⠀sites,⠀equipment,⠀and⠀grounds⠀where a⠀contract⠀is not⠀involved.
- Identifies,⠀budgets,⠀orders⠀maintenance⠀and⠀custodial⠀equipment⠀and⠀supplies⠀as needed;⠀maintain⠀and⠀inventory⠀appropriate⠀levels of⠀routine⠀parts and⠀supplies.
- Oversees⠀maintenance⠀contracts⠀and⠀participates⠀in their⠀selection.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

- High⠀school⠀diploma or⠀equivalency⠀required.
- 5⠀years⠀previous⠀experience⠀working in⠀facilities⠀and⠀maintenance⠀with⠀multiple⠀sites⠀preferred.
- Training⠀in the⠀areas of⠀asbestos⠀and⠀hazardous⠀materials.
- Valid⠀California⠀Driver’s⠀License.
