As a Loan Servicing Associate I within the Lending Services, you will play a key role in supporting some of the largest and most complex corporate loan transactions in the market. Your primary responsibilities will include providing operational support for syndicated credit structures where JPMorgan serves as the agent or for bilateral loans issued exclusively by JPMorgan. In this client-facing role, you will engage directly with borrowers, lenders, and internal business partners to deliver various loan servicing functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process loan transactions and reconcile fund movements as instructed by clients, in compliance with credit agreements.
  • Calculate and monitor complex interest and fee accruals across multiple rate levels.
  • Reconcile daily cash transactions, ensuring all funding and payment activities are accounted for.
  • Analyze and interpret detailed legal credit agreements and associated documentation.
  • Manage and escalate overdue principal, interest, and fees when necessary.
  • Maintain accuracy in the loan accounting platform to issue timely and precise invoices.
  • Implement margin changes and communicate updates effectively to external banking partners.
  • Respond to requests for information from clients, business partners, middle office teams, or lenders.
  • Review and monitor exception reports while providing appropriate updates.
  • Verify system data accuracy for new deals, restructures, and amendments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of industry experience and/or expertise in Account Management.
  • Strong understanding of JPMorgan or Treasury bank funding operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal and client service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently and with strong organizational skills.
  • Capability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with proven decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting loan documentation.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Hands-on experience managing a portfolio of 30+ multicurrency syndicated deals.
  • Knowledge of pricing structures for revolving and term loans.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT MT202 and MT103 payment formats for currency transactions.
  • Experience with LOANIQ systems.
  • Expertise in payment processing, reconciliation, and exception management within JPMorgan’s proprietary platforms.
